Greece “crashed” Senegal in their first game at FIBA World Cup 2014. Greece did not have any problems in beating the African team 87-64. The Greek team ended the first half ahead 45-17, while the last two periods were won by Senegal by three (47-44).
Kaimakoglou paced Greece with 17 points and 8 rebounds, Vasileiadis added 13 points, Antetokounmpo had 11 points and 5 rebounds while Sloukas scored 10 points.
Gorgui Dieng finished with a double double (21 points and 14 rebounds). Ndoye scored 11 points.
