At the end of the day, the most important news headlines from Crete:


  • 25 companies are interested in natural gas and oil in Crete
  • Electronic grant of urban planning permission will be available from January 2nd, 2015, in Chania and Heraklion
  • Mayor of Chania, Mr. Tasos Vamvoukas, met with Mayor of Heraklion, Mr. Vassilis Lambrinos, at the City Hall of Chania. Mr. Vamvoukas had also a meeting with the Rector of the Technical University of Crete, Mr. Vassilis Digalakis
  • An event for the promotion of Cretan products in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary, will be held at Chania Industrial and Commercial Chamber next Thursday, 9th of October at 5 p.m.
