Government gets vote of confidence after three days of debate in Parliament

The government of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras received a vote of confidence in Parliament early on Saturday morning, following three days of debate that began Wednesday.

A total of 288 deputies voted, 155 yes, 131 no, and “present” 2.

Voting proceedings went fast after the debate’s closing speech by PM Samaras.
