Pay-up time is here for the Greek elite. Two Cretan companies among those who owe

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that the new Radical Left Coalition government plans to break up Oligarchies.

Last night he said that the tax offices will call on companies to pay back what they owe to the state and that debts would need to be tidies up.

Below is a list of 18 companies that owe over 10 bln euros in loans. Among them are two Cretan companies, Minoan Lines and FORTHnet.


The Greek government has pledged to reopen investigations on the frozen the Lagarde list – a spreadsheet containing roughtly 2,000 potential tax evaders with undeclared accounts in Swiss HSBC bank’s Geneva branch.
