ECB president Draghi: No sense in speculating on Grexit

draghiEuropean Central Bank president Mario Dragi stated on Sunday that it doesn’t make any sense to speculate on a pontential exit of Greece from the eurozone.

In an interview for the weekly magazine of Spain’s ABC newspaper, Draghi underlined that the Eurozone project was “irreversible.”

However, he declined to comment on the prospect of a Grexit.

“Please understand that I prefer not to comment at all on this issue. Any statement on my part could be used politically. To speculate on a potential Grexit doesn’t make any sense,” he said.
