Papaconstantinou: “I am innocent, I deny all charges”

Greek Former Finance minister, Giorgos Papaconstantinou, apperead before a Special Court in Athens, charged with tampering with Lagarde list containing the names of more than 2,000 Greeks with cash deposits at a Geneva branch of HSBC in an effort to remove the names of three of his relatives.

In his opening statement Papaconstantinou denied the charges and said that he is innocent.
