Full speed back… Gov’t begins discussion with Fraport for the privatization of Greek regional airports

It is definitive… Greek Gov’t starts negotiations with the provisional bidder Fraport, in regard to the conditions of the bid for the privatization of Greek regional airports!

As announced by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, Mr. Christos Spirtzis… “We have a bidder and will negotiate with him”.

He also added that…We will place our ‘red lines’ and we will not give away… everything.”

It has to be mentioned that before the elections, SYRIZA was saying that all 14 Greek regional airports -including “Giannis Daskalogiannis” in Chania- would stay under the total control of the Greek State and there was no chance to sell them.
