General Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Giorgos Romanias, visited Chania and spoke in an event for the Social Insurance Systm in Greece.
As Mr. Romanias said to the local media, “Greece’s lenders have not moved not even an inch from what they were telling us last year. Their proposal for a pension age of 67 is silly. It is antisocial and silly. Their proposals are not technocratic, but simply political”.
“This Government will not accept any reductions to pensions. We have no problem to pay all pensions until 2017. But after 2017, we will have a major problem”, added Mr. Romanias.
