Greek govt asks for delay in IMF payment; wants to bundle June instalments

The leftist Greek government has reportedly requested that its payments due to the IMF in June be combined into one, an option meant to delay payment on Friday of 300 million euros owed to the Fund.

According to reports, the government made the request towards the Bank of Greece (BoG) , which will convey the request to the IMF.

A total of 1.5 billion euros is owed this month, with payments on June 5, 12 and 19.
