Shark caught by fisherman close to Gramvoussa

According to a post from zarpanews.gr, a fisherman caught a shark, west of Gramvoussa island (close to Pontikos island), early in the morning.

The owner of a tavern in Chania went fishing and realized that something big, heavy and long was in his fishing nets.

It was a shark, known as “sapounas” in Greece, 5m and 350kgs.

That kind of shark is not dangerous and feeds only with other fish.
