Who are the armed robbers of the hotel in Hersonissos?

The armed robbers (two Greeks, aged 29 and one Armenian aged 33) of the hotel in Hersonissos (see here) seem to be well known to Police officers.

According to the preliminary investigation and a Press release from the Police, they are responsible for 7 armed robberies, 2 attempts of robbery and 6 car thefts.

In particular:

  • August 1, 2012: They stole jewels from a jewelry store inside a hotel in Hersonissos, with a total cost of 300.000 euros
  • July 9, 2014: They stole jewels from a jewelry store in Malevizi, with a total cost of 400.000 euros
  • February 12, 2015: They tried -unsuccessfully- to steal jewels from a jewelry store in Heraklion
  • February 12, 2015: They stole 5.800 euros from a supermarket in Heraklion
  • February 12, 2015: They stole 7.800 euros from a supermarket in Gazi
  • February 12, 2015: They stole 600 euros from a gas station on the national road from Heraklion to Rethymno
  • April 3, 2015: They stole jewels and money from a jewelry store in Hersonissos, with a total cost of 100.070 euros
  • May 5, 2015: They tried -unsuccessfully- to “invade” in a jewelry store in Ammoudara, Heraklion
