Bild: Greece to postpone IMF payment unilaterally

Greeks have found “a technical option to postpone the payment unilaterally, in the IMF rules,” according to Bild’s front page.

Under the IMF’s rules, a country does have a month’s grace before its Executive Board is formally notified, and they might not be formally suspended for 15 months.

It is unclear whether Athens also wants to – or can – postpone its €6.7bn debt repayment to the ECB this summer, Bild adds.
