Robbery at Pasakaki, Chania. Owner of a minimarket seriously injured

The owner of a minimarket at Pasakaki neighbourhood, Chania, was seriously injured, during a robbery on Sunday night.

Incident occurred shortly before 11.00 p.m., when a man -wearing hood- “invaded” in the minimarker and asked the owner to give him all the money from the cash register.

The 63 year old owner resisted strongly to the robber.

The robber hit him with a bat and stabbed him with a knife, took some of the money and left the minimarket.

The owner was seriously injured and transferred immediately to the hospital.

According to information, police officers found the hood and some banknotes a few meters away from the minimarket.
