Greek destination management group Deltanet Travel has set its sights on handling more than half a million foreign visitors to Greece in 2016, while expanding with two new branches in Athens and Corfu, and a subsidiary in China.
Based in Heraklion, Crete, Deltanet Travel is currently active in incoming tourism with branches on Rhodes, Kos, Karpathos, Corfu and in Cyprus.
In 2015, in collaboration with its partners, Deltanet handled approximately 450,000 tourists from 30 foreign markets. This year it expects to work with a growing number of holidaymakers from France and Russia.
At the same time, the company’s hotel group Vita Hotels, which controls five hotel units, four of which are on Crete and Rhodes with a total capacity of 1,300 rooms, is further expanding with Vita Hospitality, aiming to provide management services to accommodation units. The group recently added the Arina Sand Hotel to its Crete assets, which also include the Carolina Mare and Zorbas Village.
