One of Canada’s best young entrepreneurs is Cretan
Tony Lourakis is Co-Founder and CEO of Complete Innovations, one of the fastest growing North American technology companies, he has been recognized as one of Canada’s best young entrepreneurs.
His company has created Fleet complete, its flagship product, capable of enabling 6,000 customers across North America to track, optimize and manage over 80,000 vehicles, assets and people. With his leadership, Complete Innovations has grown continuously and is ranked in lists as Braham300, Profit500, Fast50 among others for several years. His excellent leadership skills, along with Tony’s in depth knowledge of software design, have been instrumental to the company’s growth and current position as the market leader.
In 1997 until 1999 Lourakis studied Computer Science at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. During his college years he founded his first company, Canlogic Solutions. A first level system support and IT solution provider. In 1998, he and Andrew Merisanu created Courier Complete, the genesis to what is today Complete Innovations.
He was named Finalist for Ernst & Young’s 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was awarded also with the Greek America’s Forty Under 40 of the 2014 class.
Tony Lourakis is also a member of the YMCA Development Committee, is a YMCA volunteer and a financial donor. His company, through his direction with its social responsibility programs, has supported SickKids Hospital and has financially assisted with various global disasters, such as the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the 2013 Philippines disaster.
He is a member of the Young Presidents Association (YPO) and serves on the board of the YPO Toronto chapter. He serves also as the Vice President of the Cretan Association of Toronto KNOSSOS and is a board member of the Hellenic Heritage Foundation.
