An historic site of Chania
The building that houses PALLAS is, truly, a living piece of the history of Chania. Located in one of the nicest parts of town, it was built in 1830, was home to Ali Pasha, served as customs, and was part of the historic area called Piazza Magazine. The renovation, which even now maintains its beauty, was subsidized after the Archaeological Service named the site one of the 20 best buildings of Crete in 1986.
