Greek airports announce record breaking arrivals in first 10 months of 2018

Greece’s airports have peaked with international visitors in 2018, recording an additional 679,983 passengers in the January-October period, the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority announced.

An increase of 10% was recorded in the number of passengers arriving at the airports across Greece in January-October 2018 reaching 58.7 million compared to 53.4 million in the same period last year (5.2 million more passengers).

The total number of flights in Greek airports rose to 483,341 (of which 179,007 domestic and 304,334 foreign passengers) a 9.6% growth compared to the corresponding period of 2017 where 441,182 flights were carried out.
