Ryanair announces new fare reductions

On Monday Ryanair has announced 20% price reductions on its flights, to cheer people up on ‘Blue Monday’, said to be the ‘most depressing day of the year’

Ryanair flies to 23 destinations from Chania including 3 new summer routes to Naples, Bucharest and Sofia.

The budget airline has not restored its Athens to Chania route, but continues its all year round flights to Thessaloniki and Pafos.

  1. Ryanair have left the residents on Western Crete without a direct flight from Chania to Athens for the Winter. It looks as if Ryanair just want to cherrypick where it serves.Well the people of Western Crete cannot depend on Ryanair if they are going to leave people withour Chania /Athens service. My suggestion is that Ryanair should pack up and go back to” Leprachaun land” as the people on Crete can get a more reliable air service from another airline.

Slan Leath Ryanair ( goodbye in Gaelic)
