VIDEO: 3,8 kg and 530 cannabis trees in Milopotamos

  • 540 cannabis trees in two different areas in Milopotamos were found by the Police. All of them were uprooted and confiscated.
  • Police found also 3,8 kg of cannabis coming from harvesting and drying.
  • Police continues its investigations to identify and arrest the perpetrators.

As officially announced by the Police, with the assistance of a helicopter, two cannabis plantations with 530 cannabis trees were found in Milopotamos, Rethymnon.

During exploration, there were found six specific areas, which were cultivated assiduously a total of five hundred and thirty cannabis trees, up to 5 meters each, at the stage of harvesting.

Moreover, Police found three kilos and 800 grams of cannabis, coming from harvesting and drying.

These cannabis trees were seized along with a number of exhibits found during the exploration of the plantations.

The research continues in the region, to identify and arrest the perpetrators.

The preliminary investigation is conducted by the Local Police of Rethymnon.
