Bloomberg: Greece 13th most expensive country for fuel

fuelAccording to Bloomberg’s fuel prices index, Greek consumers pay an average of 1.50 euros per liter, making Greece the 13th most expensive country for fuel worldwide.

The highest average price for fuel per liter was found in Norway (€1.96), followed by Turkey (€1.79) and Hong Kong (€1.72).

The cheapest average prices were found in Venezuela (€0.01), Saudi Arabia (€0.10) and Kuwait (€0.17).

The news agency’s ranking shows that despite a 20% reduction of prices in the past six months, Greek consumers spend about 3.03% of their income on fuel, ranking fifth overall.
