Thirty-one new confirmed coronavirus cases were announced on Sunday by the National Public Health Organization (EODY) in the last 24 hours with 4 of these identified at entry points to Greece.
The total number of cases so far since the pandemic’s outbreak in Greece totals 3,083, of whom 54.5 pct are men. Of these, 998 are related to travel abroad, 1,989 to a known case and the rest are of indeterminate cause.
The 31 new cases since Saturday include the 4 entering Greece, 3 people who stepped forward voluntarily to be tested, 6 each were identified in the Attica region and in the Kozani region, five each in the Thessaloniki and Imathia regions, and one each in the Halkidiki peninsula and the Kastoria regions.
There is no death reported, while fatalities from Covid-19 in Greece total 193. The median age of the deceased was 76 years, and most had underlying issues.
A total of 10 individuals are at intensive care units currently; 70 pct of these are men.
