Hundreds of people in the Municipal Market of Chania for a meze and a glass of tsikoudia

Barbecues, a glass of wine or tsikoudia, plenty of meze, wishes for a happy new year and hundreds of people… this was the traditional “scenery” in the Municipal Market of Chania until late in the evening.

“Pantermakia” were playing Cretan traditional music and… kefi was up high.

The Deputy Governor of Chania, Mr. Apostolos Voulgarakis, the Mayor of Chania, Mr. Tasos Vamvoukas, had a glass of wine and talked about the upcoming elections.

Due to bad weather, people who went to the Municipal Market were fewer than recent years.
